But, hey, in my house, any day of the year is a good year for ice cream. Tonight, I threw together a quick milkshake with eggnog for variety, and it was declared a winner! (The recipe below makes enough for two generous glasses. Measurements are totally an estimate. Just go for it!)
By the way, if you don't have a jar of our Poudre Douce in your pantry, you don't know what you're missing. I use it in lattes, baking, and, as seen below, in milkshakes! Apparently, this blend of cardamon, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger dates back to the 14th century. If it's lasted that long, it has to be good!

- Milk - about 1 cup
- Eggnog - about 2/3 cup
- Poudre Douce - 1-2 tsp
