I certainly cannot take credit for creating this recipe, but I wanted to share it anyway, as it is such a great take-along for summer potlucks.
Give yourself a couple of hours before you need to serve this to make sure that it chills well.
To prepare:
* Prepare your favourite chocolate cake recipe (I used a mix this time). Bake and let cool. If you are serving only adults, pour 1/4 cup Kahlua over the cake once cooled. Cut the cake into approximately 2 inch squares.
* Make 2 packages of Epicure's Chocolate Pudding (each will take two cups of milk). Let set in the fridge
* Whip 1 Litre of whipping cream (you could also use "Cool Whip" but I prefer to use fresh whipping cream.)
* Roughly chop 3-4 chocolate bars (I've used Skor and Milk Chocolate with Almonds)
Build two layers in this order - cake, pudding, whipping cream, chocolate bar. That's all there is to it!
This recipe serves at least ten people.
