My mother gave me the old ice-cream maker from when I was a child (no, it wasn't hand cranked, just in case you were wondering). Last night, the kids and I made homemade chocolate ice cream using Epicure's fondue chocolate, pure cocoa, and vanilla.
Ingredients:
After processing the ice cream, we also stirred in about 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows. This is, according to my kids, the best ice cream in the world! (The melted fondue chocolate hardened again during the processing, giving little hard chunks of chocolate deliciousness throughout the chocolatey creaminess.) It's a hit!
