What's better than pork tenderloin? Pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon, cooked on a bed of wine-soaked apples, and served with garlic mashed potatoes. Oh my, Tuesday dinner at its best!
Ingredient List:
Place apples slices on the bottom of your Everything Pan; pour 1/2 cup wine over the apples. Prepare tenderloins by spreading a layer of mustard over the top of each, sprinkling generously with Sage & Apple Seasoning, and wrapping with bacon. Place on top of apples and cook for 35-40 minutes at 375 degrees.
When finished, place pork on a platter and cover with aluminum foil. On the stovetop, heat the apples on medium-high heat. Deglaze the Everything Pan by adding 1/2 cup wine and cooking for 3-4 minutes. Add 1 tbsp Oh Canada, 1 tbsp butter, and 1/2 tbsp grainy mustard to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes more (the liquid will evaporate, leaving you with amazing braised apples).
Slice pork tenderloin on an angle and serve with braised apples.
Ingredient List:
- Two apples, sliced thinly with the Ceramic Slicer
- 1 cup white wine, divided (I used Chardonnay because that's what was opened; however, a Riesling would be even better!)
- Pork tenderloin
- Sweet & Spicy Mustard (or Dijon)
- Sage & Apple Stuffing Seasoning
- Bacon (about 4 strips per tenderloin)
- 1 tbsp (or more) Oh Canada Dry Glaze
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 - 1 tbsp grainy mustard
